If so, we are looking for you Our firm is hiring an associate attorney who will support us by litigating cases, conducting legal research, drafting documents, maintaining client files, and providing strategic and holistic legal counsel. The ideal candidate will have courtroom experience and strong legal research and writing skills. We are changing the way law is practiced by running a law firm differently. We source your clients for you. Although we will pay origination on clients you bring, it is not a requirement. We want our attorneys to focus on client work and giving clients the best possible experience.
Responsibilities
- Exceeding billable hour requirements.
- Performing Client Needs Assessments.
- Developing strategic case plans for the client's matter relative to the client's budget.
- Communicating with clients.
- Preparing for and attending court hearings and trials.
- Drafting all manner of pleadings.
- Communicating with opposing counsel and court professionals.
- Working closely with support staff to ensure effectiveness and client satisfaction.
- Conducting legal research, preparing for and attending hearings and other legal proceedings, and providing legal counsel with the help of senior associate attorneys.
- Keeping files organized to make sure the most recent updates are accessible to other attorneys, paralegals, and staff.
- Preparing correspondence and legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings.
- Collaborating with clients, senior associates, and other staff to move cases toward resolution efficiently.
- Analyzing conflicts in legal matters, advising clients on solutions, and negotiating on behalf of clients.
- Assist clients in determining a proper solution to legal conflicts and determine the best course of action.
- Resolve cases efficiently by communicating effectively with and working alongside senior attorneys and paralegals.

- Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree required from an accredited law school.
- Willingness to learn from senior attorneys to meet our client needs and grow our client base.
- Exceptional communication skills and problem-solving skills needed in order to work with all levels of staff and our clients.
- Applicants must have successfully passed the state bar exam.
- Active member of the American Bar Association (ABA).
Compensation
$100,000 - $150,000 yearly
