Envetec is an exciting clean technology focussed start-up. Using our innovative, low energy, non-thermal technology we aim to help businesses meet their sustainability goals. We have ambitious growth plans and now require an External Manufacturing Manager to join the team and help to scale the business for a global market while supporting the supply chain function at our site in Birdhill, Co. Tipperary. The successful candidate will be joining a team alongside renowned industry leaders in a young, fast growing clean tech company.The RoleThe External Manufacturing Manager will be responsible for managing technical issues across the network of suppliers who manufacture components, assemblies and finished equipment that comprise the GENERATIONS system. This includes both planning and hands-on execution responsibilities as part of a growing start up organisation.The key area of responsibility are:Technical oversight of the manufacturing of the components, assemblies and finished equipment that comprise the GENERATIONs systemsLead the identification and resolution of manufacturing and component issues impacting the GENERATIONs supply chainOptimise the manufacturing strategy and methods to optimise cost and quality across the vendor networkThis role will be part of an Operations Leadership Team and will work collaboratively across functions to deliver the shared goals of the business.ResponsibilitiesManagement of the Bill of Materials (BOM) for all components, assemblies and finished equipmentEnsure that technical issues relating to the manufacture of the GENERATIONS system are identified and resolved in a timely mannerOptimise the manufacturing sequences and methods for cost and quality and ensure manufacturing instructions are accurate and up to dateEstablish and maintain strong relationships with the vendor network with regular on-site interaction and supportManage and maintain the product and component specification and ensure adequate controls and testing are in placeManage the Engineering Change Request (ECR) process to ensure design changes are coordinated across the vendor networkSupport the sourcing of new vendors and benchmarking prices from existing vendorsProvide manufacturing input to the design of new productsIdentify, agree and report key performance metrics across the vendor networkFlexibility & Teamwork:Envetec is a young & growing organisation where priorities can change rapidly in response to business and customer needs. Colleagues are required to show agility and support each other across functions as required. This can include both task and project responsibilities.Key requirements for the roleQualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Elec/Mech. Process or Manufacturing Engineering or a related field. Note: Other educational backgrounds may be considered if supported by significant applicable experiences.Experience:7 years of experience in the manufacture of electrical/mechanical equipment, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.Proven track record of managing and resolving technical issues with external partners.Skills and Competencies:Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent technical skills and deep knowledge of world class manufacturing processes.Good knowledge of applicable regulations relating to the manufacture of Elec/Mech equipment (EU machinery directive, US UL requirement etc).Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Regular presence at vendor locations is required to maintain effective relationships and provide hands-on support to resolve key issues. #J-18808-Ljbffr
