Job Description
Extrusion Team Leader (2 Cycle Shift) at Freudenberg Medical: Supervise extrusion lines, motivate staff, and drive continuous improvements in a dynamic and innovative environment.

As a member of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Supervising extrusion lines to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and waste management objectives are met.
- Optimizing extrusion jobs, including cleaning, set up, sizing, and running schedules, to meet daily targets.
- Motivating staff through good communications, problem-solving, team building, and positive feedback.
- Coordinating and assigning daily tasks with technicians, inspectors, operators, and others.
- Maintaining high levels of extrusion cleanroom housekeeping and implementing 5 S activities and standards.
- Supporting continuous improvements and lean manufacturing activities.
- Ensuring necessary training and up-skilling activities are carried out, evaluated, and documented.
- Ensuring work practices and procedures are adhered to and continuously evaluated.
- Ensuring production efficiencies and targets are met and reviewed through a documented visual display system.
- Ensuring process controls are clearly documented and adhered to.
- Liaising with engineering and management for scheduling and supervision of product trials, validation builds, and other activities.
- Ensuring work order packs are completed fully and accurately, and GDP is maintained to a high standard.
Qualifications:
- Certification in engineering or science and/or 2-3 years experience at a supervisory level.
- Evidence of communication and strong supervisory skills.
