Job Description
Precision Engineering Specialist with 3+ years of TIG welding and stainless steel polishing experience required to work in a fast-paced precision engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate components in line with specification on company drawings.
- Review and support improvements to drawings as appropriate.
- Liaise with customers, vendors, Machinists & Designers on technical issues.
- Work in a safe manner and ensure all safety rules are strictly adhered to.
- Identify and report risks or roadblocks to manager and help develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Maintain excellent communication with customers, providing upfront schedules and regular updates.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and promote quality awareness.
- Participate in audits, including regulatory body and customer audits.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years of TIG welding and stainless steel polishing experience.
- Experience working in a precision engineering or pharmaceutical/aerospace manufacturing environment.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and statistical packages.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Attention to detail and conscientious approach to tasks.
- Relevant engineering experience or product knowledge.
