Experienced Façade Manager sought for high-density residential and commercial projects, requiring strong technical and project management skills.
We are currently working on a number of high-density residential and commercial projects and seeking an experienced, professional Façade Manager for these projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Project Manager with daily operations as required.
- Coordinate façade elements across various subcontract packages and oversee the detailed interface.
- Plan and program the overall façade construction schedule.
- Manage technical submittals, track sign off and BCAR approvals process for the façade scope.
- Manage sample procurement, sign off and testing regimes.
- Ensure compliance with project performance specifications and drawings.
- Track the procurement of façade materials for the project and coordinate logistics.
- Ensure all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are met from Design to procurement to installations.
- Review project quality using BIM field or similar tools and conduct a full checklist.
- Ensure all Safety Files and O&M data is compiled for handover to the Client's representative.
- Ensure all onsite testing is completed in line with specifications and sign off and snagging is completed.
- Review and validate any variations associated with the façade scope.
- Review variations where appropriate to façade sub-contractor if it is essential but not within their scope of work.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in managing façade projects with a proven track record.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience at this level, working on similar projects.
- Trade Qualification or Construction related qualification.
- Strong and effective sub-contractor management skills.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication skills.
