We're currently recruiting a dedicatedFacilities Assistant to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Compass Group Ireland on afull time basis, contracted to37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. As aFacilities Assistant, you will use your skills to maintain a high standard of facility management with the wider facilities team. Here's an idea of what your shift pattern will be: Mon: Full-time (Days) Tues: Full-time (Days) Weds: Full-time (Days) Thurs: Full-time (Days) Fri: Full-time (Days) Could you bring your spark to Compass Group Ireland? Here's what you need to know before applying: Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: General routine maintenance tasks, comprising of and having a good understanding of: Carpentry, electrical, plumbing, Tiling, Painting, Groundworks. etc. General reactive/emergency tasks assigned by site management for the above mentioned on a daily/weekly basis. Manage and document Daily plant checks, weekly generator testing, monthly water temperature checks, any other similar duties assigned by Team Leader. Report any faults damage or breakdowns to team leader Work cohesively as part of an existing experienced multi skilled maintenance and Facilities team. Liaise with and assist subcontractors regarding PPMs and Maintenance issues onsite. Assist with room setups for meetings and events onsite Be able to work on your own initiative and implement your skills to problem solve various maintenance related issues and that may occur on a daily basis. Manage tasks via a ticketing system and as assigned by the Facilities Supervisor Our ideal Facilities Assistant will: Min +3years Experience (ideally in a trade background) Safe Pass required Manual handling Good communication skills Good Team player that can use their initiative Be adaptable and easily embrace changing priorities Strive for excellence in an eager and motivated manner Take initiative and make decisions that are right for our customers Possess the ability to work under pressure At Compass Ireland, our people are our business.
