**Job Summary** Manage site facilities team to ensure safety, quality, service, and cost targets are met or exceeded. **Job Description** The Facilities Manager is responsible for leading a site facilities team to achieve excellence in safety, quality, service, and cost. This is a hands-on role that requires active support of the team in carrying out tasks and managing all aspects of the team across all shifts. **Key Responsibilities** * Demonstrate strong leadership and a clear work ethos within the team * Manage day-to-day people management, providing frequent feedback to technicians and allocating resources effectively * Develop technicians through training plans to enhance their skills and performance * Implement and manage strategic engineering goals, objectives, and KPIs * Attend tier 1 meetings and take ownership of facilities actions * Manage facilities and client procedures, ensuring each has an assigned process owner * Review facility open work orders to ensure equipment operates efficiently * Carry out planned preventative maintenance on facility-related equipment * Proactively identify and remedy equipment issues to maximize equipment uptime * Liaise with the Maintenance Manager and respond to non-technical and technical queries promptly * Oversee fault finding and repairs to facilities' broken down equipment * Manage subcontractors, ensuring compliance with site and company training requirements * Coordinate and issue planned work orders for facility activities * Maintain appropriate records in line with GMP requirements * Ensure full compliance with EHS procedures * Contribute to targets related to Safety, Quality, Compliance, Continuous Improvement, and legislative requirements * Coordinate shift patterns, holiday requirements, and coverage for absences and overtime **Requirements** * Third-level engineering qualification and Senior Trades experience * Previous experience in a maintenance or facilities role within a highly regulated environment * Strong financial, systems, and process knowledge * Excellent problem-solving skills * Excellent communication skills * Ability to make informed decisions * Excellent customer service skills * Dynamic approach to achieving continuous improvement * Customer-focused * Self-motivated and able to motivate others **Working Pattern** Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm **Location** Kilkenny, Ireland **Skills** * Leadership and People Management * Technical and Engineering Expertise * Communication Skills * Problem-Solving Abilities * Organizational and Planning Skills * Financial and Process Knowledge * Customer Service Orientation
