Overview Are you ready to lead and make a significant impact in Facilities Management? We seek a Facilities Manager to oversee various facilities services, projects, and safety measures across our client premises. Your role will ensure a safe, efficient, and productive environment for everyone. Key Responsibilities Project Management: Lead and manage office moves, space planning, and facilities-related projects. Provide timely reports to keep everyone informed. Record Keeping: Maintain organized records of all preventive maintenance activities, both in-house and outsourced. Team Oversight: Guide and evaluate the performance of outsourced teams, including quality control and operational direction. Issue Resolution: Track and resolve all facilities-related requests promptly, ensuring issues are addressed and feedback is given. Efficiency Improvements: Constantly seek ways to improve efficiency in all facilities services. Asset Management: Ensure all assets are logged and managed according to company standards. Essential Duties Multi-Site Management: Oversee a Total Facilities Management (TFM) contract in South Dublin, with regular site visits. Budget & Cost Control: Develop and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effective resource utilization. Staff Management: Supervise direct report staff, including security and cleaning teams, ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures. Client Interaction: Guide facilities management and energy efficiency to clients, maintaining high satisfaction levels. Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all operations meet safety standards and regulatory requirements. Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits and monitor the quality of work, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met. Reporting: Prepare and present monthly reports on service delivery and other key metrics. What We're Looking For Technical Knowledge: Understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in building engineering, plus knowledge of local building, fire, and safety codes. Management Skills: Experience in HR, team leadership, and budget management. Customer Service Excellence: Strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service. Proactive Attitude: A self-starter eager to learn and grow in the role. Qualifications & Experience: Previous experience in facilities management, strong PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and familiarity with health, safety, and environmental issues. Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday from 08:00 to 16:30 and Friday from 08:00 to 15:30.
