This role is based on-site at a pharmaceutical facility supporting a major renovation project that includes a new build extension and civil works. The position is essential for maintaining compliance with strict operational and safety procedures during these expansions. About the Job As a Facilities Support Manager, your responsibilities will focus on maintaining operational compliance through the renovation of the existing building and the construction of a new facility. You'll oversee strict adherence to SOPs, ensuring every process aligns with standard operating procedures. The role will also involve a strong focus on data analysis, handling large amounts of graphs and data to provide insights into facility performance. You will liaise with clients and contractors to ensure that both relationships and contract requirements are effectively managed. Key Responsibilities Ensure compliance with GMP standards across all facility operations and expansions. Manage civil works and renovations to ensure alignment with standard operating procedures and safety regulations. Conduct regular site inspections and create detailed reports on operational performance using analytical data. Oversee the coordination of contractors to ensure they meet compliance requirements throughout the project. Support planning and coordination of new facility development in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Ensure all documentation follows SOPs and regulatory compliance for audits and quality inspections. Maintain excellent client and contractor relationships, managing contracts to ensure adherence to agreed terms. Ideal Candidate Profile Experience: A minimum of 3-4 years working within a regulated environment (e.g., GMP), preferably in facilities management or construction. Contractor Management: At least 2-3 years of experience managing contractors in civil or renovation projects, ensuring adherence to compliance and safety standards. Analytical Skills: Proven ability to handle large datasets and generate detailed reports from graphs and data, with a minimum of 2 years of practical experience in data analysis for decision-making. Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of SOPs, safety regulations, and compliance protocols with 2+ years of experience maintaining high standards within operational environments. Client and Contractor Relations: Demonstrated ability to manage and maintain client and contractor relationships over a minimum period of 2-3 years, ensuring contract obligations are met. Attention to Detail: High level of precision in documenting discrepancies and operational changes, ensuring compliance is sustained throughout projects. Driving Licence: A full clean driving licence with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience for on-site duties. Essential Skills: Experience: 3-4 years experience in a regulated environment (e.g., GMP). Soft Services Management: 2-3 years experience managing soft services in a similar setting. Compliance: Strong knowledge of GMP regulations and safety protocols. Budgeting: 2-3 years experience with financial management, including costings and budgets. Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills for liaising with contractors and internal teams. Analytical: Ability to interpret operational data and graphs for reporting and decision-making.
