Job DescriptionFACILITIES PROJECT ENGINEER required by CareerWise Recruitment for our multinational BioTech client in Limerick, initial 12-month contract on offer.The FACILITIES PROJECT ENGINEER provides engineering support, troubleshooting & subject matter expertise to the Facilities Operations, Utilities & HVAC teams. They will also design, specify & commission new and renovated biopharmaceutical utilities & HVAC equipment, manage small to mid-sized projects relating to utilities & HVAC equipment & services.Role of this positionDesigns and specifies cGMP clean/grey utilities, & HVAC equipment, piping, ducting and/or controls.Manages small-to-mid-sized projects related to utilities & HVAC equipment & services.Conducts troubleshooting for complex issues with plant equipment issues and associated systems, identifying and recommending corrective actions.Assists in the design review, site acceptance, and installation of equipment.Supports QA Validation department by preparation of design documents and assists in protocol execution.Assists in investigations of utility systems and control system anomalies as well as safety incidents.Implements corrective/preventative actions for existing equipment and maintenance processes.Prepares engineering evaluations and test plans for and executes modification change control documentation.Interpret P&IDs, equipment/system layouts, wiring diagrams and specifications in planning and performing maintenance and repairs.May supervise mechanical, electrical, and automation contractors.Maintains a clean and safe working environment by enforcing procedures, policies, and regulations.Maintains company reputation by enforcing compliance with all relevant laws, policies, and regulations.JOB REQUIREMENTSRequires Level 8 or higher in Mechanical engineering or equivalent with 3+ years of experience in engineering preferred.Direct experience with Utilities systems (clean/grey) & HVAC is preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
