Job Description
General Facilities Technician role in Limerick, Ireland, requires maintenance and repair expertise to ensure site buildings are safe and secure.
As a member of the general facilities team, you will be responsible for delivering building services maintenance and repairs across the site. Your key roles and responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking routine planned and reactive maintenance services to ensure operational standards are maintained at all times.
- Supporting minor works and supervising maintenance assistants.
- Completing routine repairs or minor works.
- Supporting projects and delivering minor capital works.
- Completing suitable risk assessments and following relevant permit or work plans.
- Delivering excellent customer service at all times, including emergency call outs.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A relevant trades qualification.
- Either a joinery or plumbing background.
- Experience of completing maintenance tasks in a building maintenance environment.
- A working knowledge of repairs and maintenance, Health & Safety, environment standards, manual handling, working at height, confined spaces.
- Experience working in a buildings maintenance role, ideally in a regulated environment.
