Job Description
Fideuram Asset Management (Ireland) dac is a key player in Irish private banking, managing approximately €42 billion worth of assets with over 160 sub funds. They seek a qualified professional to join their team in a senior role, contributing to steering, improving, and monitoring the investment process.
Key responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development and improvement of existing processes within the desk.
- Support the investment process using a proprietary software library, with experience in managing coding projects a plus.
- Conduct equity and quant research independently and support junior team members.
- Coordinate daily activities of several portfolio managers, ensuring quality and robustness of analysis.
- Contribute to deciding active positioning of investment portfolios managed by the team.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in asset management companies.
- At least two years in a comparable senior role.
- Proven experience as equity portfolio manager, preferably with a global or USA focus.
- MSc or PhD in economics or related fields.
- Familiarity with discretionary and systematic portfolio management strategies.
- Proficiency in Python programming language and SQL paradigm.
- Excellent background in economics, econometrics, and equity valuation.
- Ability to conduct research independently and manage coding projects.
- Proficient in English written and oral, with knowledge of Italian a plus.
