Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Field Engineer to support a government sector client.
This is an onsite position based in Dublin 11, with a 24-month contract duration.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining and supporting Microsoft-based environments, providing technical expertise, and ensuring effective collaboration between IT teams and business stakeholders.
Key Deliverables:
Infrastructure Maintenance and Support: Provide hands-on support for Microsoft-based environments, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Technical Expertise:
Act as a subject matter expert on Microsoft infrastructure, adhering to best practice standards for optimal performance.
Stakeholder Communication:
Liaise effectively with both IT and business colleagues, addressing infrastructure issues and providing solutions.
Mandatory Qualifications:
Level 7 or
Higher Qualification:
A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, is required.
Experience Requirement:
A minimum of 4-6 years of experience at an intermediate level in a similar Field Engineer role.
Required Experience and Skills:
Helpdesk Experience:
Experience working as part of a helpdesk team in a Microsoft Office-based environment, particularly supporting hybrid work environments.
Technical Proficiency:
Strong understanding of Microsoft-based environments, including their operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
