Job Description

Our market leading client with its base in Dublin is offering an excellent opportunity for a talented, driven and industry experienced Sales professionals to join their team to drive revenue within the territory. As stockists of fixings, bolts, professional & security fasteners and associated hardware, our client supplies merchants and distributors, as well as directly to the manufacturing, construction & engineering sectors. The role will cover the following areas - Dublin, Leitrim, Longford, louth, Meath, Roscommon, Sligo, Westmeath The successful candidate will be rewarded with a good basic salary, bonus scheme and will be provided with a car while working within a highly respected, successful and long established organisation. As a Field Sales Executive the purpose of your role will be management and growth of existing accounts combined with a focus on identifying and generating new business. Responsibilities to include but not limited to: · Generating sales leads through cold calling, face to face visits, networking and referrals, · Continually identifying and pursuing new business opportunities · Professional Account Management of existing client base and upselling wherever possible · Meeting with existing and potential clients to sell and promote products · Full management of the sales process · Production of quotes · Provision of product information and support to clients · Efficiently maintain accurate records · Production of sales reports and forecasting · Meet and exceed sales targets · Co-ordinating and communicating with colleagues as required · Keeping up to date with industry news, competitor activity etc Ideal candidates will be/have: · A background in the Fastenings industry · Demonstrable success within sales roles · Understanding of the sales process and dynamics. · A commitment to excellent customer service. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. · Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers. · Motivated, confident, with a "hunters" mentality to sales This would suit someone who has previous Field Sales experience within a similar environment and who is self motivated and able to journey plan successfully
