About your New Employer Working for a leading Irish-owned Food related company dedicated to providing innovative solutions to the Retail and consumable industry. Due to rapid growth they are looking for a Field Sales Executive to sell to Retailers throughout Leinster with a particular focus on the Greater Dublin area. About your new Field Sales Job: The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities while also managing and building on relationships with existing clients. This role requires a proactive approach to sales, a strong understanding of the food & retail industry, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Responsibilities include: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Greater Dublin area to drive sales growth. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and fostering loyalty. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly targets. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform sales tactics and product offerings. Maintain in-depth knowledge of product ranges and effectively communicate their benefits to clients. Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, pipeline, and market feedback to the management team using their CRM system. Work closely with the marketing and product development teams to align strategies and improve customer satisfaction. What skills you need for this Business Development Job At least 2 years proven experience in field sales, preferably within the retail, food or ingredients sector. Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You need to be a hunter with good skills at building relationships and getting repeat business Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Full driving license and willingness to travel within the Greater Dublin area.
