Field Service Engineer required to work with a leading supplier, installer, and after-sales maintenance provider in the industrial compressor sector.
CPL is partnering with a company that has a vast portfolio of clients nationwide and is looking to recruit 2 Field Service Engineers for Cork and Dublin. The company is the official distributor in Ireland for a market-leading range of industrial compressors and has a superb reputation for reliability, quality, and customer service.
The Field Service Engineers will work remotely from home, managing their own client service portfolio with the support of the Area Service Managers. They will be paid "door to door" and will have the autonomy to run their own client service portfolio.
The role involves working Monday – Thursday from 8:30 am to 5 pm and Friday from 8:30 am to 4 pm, with participation in the on-call rota. Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out scheduled or unscheduled maintenance work on installations
- Providing a complete level of service to customers on-site, including commissioning, fault-finding, servicing, maintaining, repairing, calibrating, and validating equipment and applications
- Diagnosing and implementing reactive maintenance work on client installations and other user installations
- Ensuring customer satisfaction with the product and service provided
- Pursuing a service operation with the goal of good performance
- Maximizing availability and uptime by effecting first-time fixes wherever possible
- Attending training courses and acquiring a good working knowledge of the company's equipment and applications
- Reviewing technical documentation and writing technical reports accurately
