Field Service Engineer - CT Scanners - Medical Imaging Equipment
A competitive opportunity has arisen within a leading provider of medical imaging systems for a Field Service Engineer to join their Service Engineering team. This role offers a unique chance for engineers with no medical experience to transition into the medical field.
Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out installations, planned and reactive maintenance, and break down repair work on medical imaging systems such as MRIs, CTs, X-Rays, and Ultrasounds
- Managing customers, predominantly hospitals in the Southern part of Ireland, in and around the Cork area
- Traveling locally and occasionally further afield to provide cover
- Taking part in an out-of-hours on-call rota, paid at €200 per week
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Strong electro-mechanical service, fault finding, and repair skills
- Experience with software installations or upgrades
- Excellent customer service and teamwork skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- An enjoyment of driving and flexibility to travel
