Service Engineer required for a world leader in Vehicle Safety Test Equipment. The role involves performing equipment calibrations, maintenance, and repairs at customer locations.
Our client is a world leader in Vehicle Safety Test Equipment, seeking a Service Engineer to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Performing equipment calibrations according to ISO17025 standards.
- Carrying out scheduled maintenance on equipment.
- Completing competent remedial repairs as needed.
- Installing and commissioning vehicle safety test and lifting equipment.
- Adhering to quality, safety, health, and environmental standards.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A professional and courteous, customer-oriented attitude.
- At least 3 years experience in a multi-skilled environment (electrical/mechanical) with relevant qualifications.
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
- Proficiency with computers; experience with software operating systems is an advantage.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good verbal and written communication skills for completing job-related documentation.
- A valid, full, clean drivers license (Category B).
