Job Title: Field Service Engineer The Company Our client, with over 50 years in heavy-duty machinery engineering, service, and maintenance, is seeking a talented Field Service Engineer to join their thriving team. They not only offer top-of-the-range repair services for CNC machines but also provide preventative maintenance services to ensure their established and growing client base across Ireland operates in top working condition. The Role The successful Field Service Engineer will primarily focus on: Addressing issues with CNC machinery, ensuring minimal downtime for clients Assisting in the installation of new equipment, ensuring proper setup and functionality Conducting routine maintenance to prevent machinery breakdown and extend equipment life Utilising lathe and milling machines as part of the service and maintenance activities The Person The successful Field Service Engineer will: Ideally have direct service and maintenance experience with CNC machines, demonstrating a strong understanding of their operation and repair. Have experience in servicing machinery or a background in electro-mechanics, which will be advantageous Those who have worked as an aircraft mechanic, electronic field technician will also be considered Possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while ensuring high-quality service delivery to clients Hold a full, clean driver's license, as this is a field-based role requiring travel to client sites The Package Salary: €42,000 - €45,000 DOE Company Vehicle Fuel Card Lunch Allowance 21 days holidays Laptop Company Phone Location This is a field-based role operating nationwide, but it is primarily based within the greater Dublin region.
