Field Service Engineer A major player in the Catering & Industrial Laundry Equipment industry is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their team. THE COMPANY: Our client provides service and sales solutions to the Catering, Bakery, Bar, and Laundry industries across Ireland. Known for delivering high-quality service at competitive prices, their customer base includes cafés, restaurants, nursing homes, hospitals, hotels, and corporate venues. With nearly 60 years of industry experience and a financial turnover in the multimillions, they have recently secured several key contracts. As they continue to grow, they are now seeking a Field Service Engineer to add to their dynamic team. THE ROLE: The successful Field Service Engineer will cover the Leinster region, with a primary focus on catering equipment. Key responsibilities include: Servicing, repairing, and conducting preventative maintenance on industrial ovens, cookers, grills, and other cooking equipment. Diagnosing faults and ensuring timely, efficient repairs to minimise downtime. Performing routine inspections and testing to maintain high safety and operational standards. Providing basic client training on the proper use and care of kitchen equipment. While the primary focus is on catering equipment, you will also be involved in servicing industrial laundry equipment when necessary. THE PERSON: The ideal candidate will possess: Proven experience as a catering engineer, with a strong background in servicing and maintaining industrial kitchen equipment. Familiarity with laundry equipment is advantageous but not essential. A valid FGAS Certificate is highly beneficial, demonstrating expertise in handling refrigerants and compliance with safety regulations. A full, clean driver's license is essential, as this is a field-based role requiring travel to client sites. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients.
