Job Title: Field Service Engineer The Company A renowned global manufacturer and supplier of construction plant machinery and agricultural machinery is in search of a Field Service Engineer to join their esteemed team and contribute to their international success. The Role The successful candidate will join a global leader in construction and agricultural machinery and will be responsible for the following: Servicing, repairing, and maintaining agricultural machinery and equipment, including both planned and reactive maintenance. Troubleshooting faults in machinery and equipment using diagnostic techniques and implementing effective solutions. Assisting with the commissioning of machinery and equipment post-installation. This role will require travel, offering opportunities for professional development and career challenges. The Person We are seeking a mechanical engineer with either formal training or several years of hands-on experience. The ideal candidate will have: A strong mechanical aptitude, proven by a mechanical trade qualification or significant field experience. Previous experience in a field-based service role involving heavy machinery, such as material handling, mining machinery, construction equipment, diesel engines, or agricultural machinery. Knowledge of low-voltage electrics is advantageous but not essential. Motivated, with excellent communication skills and a passion for technical problem-solving.
