Field & Application Support Engineer Permanent opportunity in Co. Kildare, in-person role for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer ? Job Description In this role you will be mainly required to perform the following duties: Installations of IP phones , switches, routers, firewalls Work with structure cabling and Voice Cabling Understanding of IP services Pull Cat 5e / Cat 6 / Cat 6A Cable Pull Fibre Optic Cable Pull Multicore Cable Install Cabinets and racks Test and terminate Cat 5e / Cat 6 / Cat 6A Cable Troubleshoot and Terminate Multicore Cable Fault Find basic wiring Problems Patching and Jumpering Circuits Take Lead and Work on own initiative Liaise with customer and attend site meetings Handle support tickets over the following channels: email, webchat, phone calls Support the following applications: mobile app, desktop app, web app, chrome app, integration apps Handle number porting Extensively handle installation processes across the country Job Requirements Must have: Experience in structured cabling systems Experience with customer support A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar role Excellent communication skills Ability to manage projects efficiently and see through to completion.
