Role and Responsibilities: Set up and test systems and sub-assemblies as directed by the Supervisor, ensuring compliance with test specifications. Conduct inspections on sub-assemblies, modules, and systems using engineering drawings and methodologies. Prepare samples, reagents for chemical testing of systems and modules. Utilise your knowledge to identify causes of malfunctions in electrical, hydraulic, and chemical operations with minimal test time loss. Ensure each system meets customer specifications regarding type, sequence, and peripherals. Support Engineering with the installation and verification of new test procedures and products. Assist in the design of test fixtures and inspection/test procedures. Maintain accurate Q.C. records by completing necessary paperwork and test data for each system/module. Oversee repair work to ensure compliance with specifications. Adhere to Q.C. procedures related to material handling and processing defective materials. Be aware of safety risks when handling hazardous materials, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Train new personnel or existing technicians on unfamiliar systems or modules. Experience: A third-level qualification such as an Engineering Degree/Diploma or QQI Level 6 Certificate in Engineering. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar manufacturing environment. Proficiency in PC skills including Word, Excel, Microsoft Windows, SAP, etc.If you're ready to make a significant impact in health care technology, we encourage you to apply!
