Job Description

This role is an 11-month contract with a Multi-National in Cork. Ideal for individuals with a background in accounts seeking hybrid working options.

  • Reporting and recording of variances at agreed schedules.
  • Preparing financial and management reports on a monthly basis.
  • Recording transactions in the accounting system.
  • Processing and reviewing invoices, reports, and proposals.
  • Conducting analysis on existing reports and issuing findings.
  • Reconciling reports and ensuring figures and information are consistent.
  • Liaising with departments to ensure report accuracy.
  • Preparing audit files and ensuring relevant information is included.
  • Maintaining databases for sales, forecasting, revenue, and system development.

Requirements:

  • Third-level finance/accounting qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years of accounting technician/accounts assistant experience in a medium-large organisation.
  • Experience in preparing monthly accounts.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
