The business area is also responsible for the project execution of large projects in Statkraft, the group procurement function and development of new business opportunities.We are currently looking to recruit a college intern to assist the wider Finance team. The team is responsible for the full suite of Finance services across our renewable energy projects of onshore wind, solar and battery storage in Ireland.Job DescriptionReporting to the Senior Finance Manager, your main responsibilities as an intern will be:Assisting the wider team with accounts preparation on a monthly, quarterly and bi-annual basis for windfarm projects in both operational and construction phaseReporting of Income Statement which includes a detailed analysis of monthly movements/variances against budgetReporting balance sheets after posting GA journals including prepayments, accruals, FA movements, intercompany movements etc.Preparation of monthly board reporting extracts for the projectsPreparation of budgets and forecasts on a quarterly and annual basis for operations teamCashflow management on a monthly basis to ensure sufficient funds are available to meet working capital requirementsPreparation and filing of VAT, RCTManagement of statutory Audits, due diligence and Revenue AuditsManagement of credit facilities, calculation and reporting of KPI ratios required by banks. Reviewing and understanding facility agreementsStatutory reporting as requiredAdditional or alternative tasks as required from time to time by the finance teamClient interface and direct responsibility for delivering scope of Asset Management contractsAd-hoc reporting to third party clients.QualificationsCurrent Student of a Finance related college courseAbility to work within a team and as an individualExcellent communication skills in EnglishStrong Interest in Renewable EnergyAdditional InformationStatkraft manages critical infrastructure and services in several countries.
