Job Description
Assist the Finance team in a college internship role, supporting the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for onshore wind, solar, and battery storage projects in Ireland.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist in accounts preparation on a monthly, quarterly, and bi-annual basis for windfarm projects in both operational and construction phases.
- Report income statement with detailed analysis of monthly movements/ variances against budget.
- Prepare balance sheets after posting GA journals, including prepayments, accruals, FA movements, intercompany movements, etc.
- Prepare monthly board reporting extracts for the projects.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts on a quarterly and annual basis for operations team.
- Manage cashflow to ensure sufficient funds are available to meet working capital requirements.
- Prepare and file VAT, RCT, and manage statutory Audits, due diligence and Revenue Audits.
- Manage credit facilities, calculate and report KPI ratios required by banks.
- Review and understand facility agreements.
- Prepare statutory reports as required.
- Interface with clients and be responsible for delivering scope of Asset Management contracts.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports for third-party clients.
Requirements:
- Current student of a Finance-related college course.
- Able to work within a team and as an individual.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Strong interest in Renewable Energy.
