Accountant responsible for financial close processes, reconciliations, and financial statement audit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
  • Prepare month-end reconciliations, including cash, accrued expenses, prepaid expenses, payroll liabilities, and fixed assets.
  • Assist the finance team on projects, including automation of tasks, financial statement audit, and control/process improvements.
  • Work with the operations and billing department to ensure timeliness and accuracy of customer-related billing matters.
  • Communicate with department leads to identify potential accruals and accounting issues.
  • Assist with Payroll, Treasury, T&E, and Accounts Payable functions as needed.
  • Enter journal entries as needed using our World-Class ERP system.
  • Prepare US GAAP journal entries in accounts payable, prepaid expenses, accruals, and payroll liabilities.
  • Ensure accounting policies, procedures, and controls are followed in local compliance and US GAAP.
  • Assist with ad hoc reporting and tasks as needed.
  • Protect company integrity by keeping client information confidential, complete, and accurate.

What we're looking for:

  • 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
  • Knowledge and experience in US GAAP.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding and proficiency of technical accounting.
  • Experience collaborating with remote colleagues and employees globally.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic business environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and critical self-review.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Independent and takes ownership in their work areas.
