Principle Objective Reporting to the Managing Director of the Specialist Product Division (but part of the wider Finance Team), the Finance Business Partner (FBP) will work across the brands in the specialist product division and support them in making informed and effective financial and strategic commercial decisions. The FBP will be involved in all parts of the financial planning process including forecasts, budgets, and long-term plans. The role will be a key member of the division’s leadership team. Knowledge & Experience Qualified accountant – ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent international qualification. Managing multiple priorities in a complex organisation. Experience of engaging and collaborating with colleagues at various organisational levels. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to develop creative solutions to financial challenges. Ideally have knowledge of construction materials, industry regulations, and market trends. Excellent Microsoft Office and presentation skills. Proficiency in Excel is essential. Key Responsibilities Lead Finance Partner for the Specialist Product Division and support tactical and strategic decision-making across the division and work with the leaders of the individual businesses to support their business needs. Work closely with the finance partner for the Builders Merchants side of the business to develop key performance metrics and dashboards and standardise reporting. Drive long-term plan, forecast, and budget discussions to enable the business future plan. Identify improvement initiatives and their financial benefits. Use financial outputs to influence the business and finance leadership teams about the future course of the business. Identify financial opportunities, risks, and drive plans to ensure they are capitalised on or mitigated. Produce analysis for Executive level presentations for the division. Work with Chadwicks Group Finance team to ensure all central team’s financial requirements are met by the division. Any other ad hoc duties as reasonably requested by the Managing Director of the Specialist Product Division. Essential Competencies Solid financial skills with a professional qualification.
