They are currently looking to expand their Finance team with the addition of a commercially minded Accountant. Reporting to the Finance Director, this role will take ownership of a number of key projects within the Group and will really focus on fostering good relationships to understand the financial performance and identify potential issues before they arise.The PositionThis is a high-profile role in a progressive organisation working with the Senior Management and Operations teams with a real focus on relationship building.Key areas of responsibility will include:Leadership and development of a small teamBudgeting and forecastingAnalysis of income and costings to dateAssist with preparation of tendersRevenue recognitionPrepare reports for senior management as requestedDevelop and update financial modelsSupport commercial business teams in preparing and evaluating proposalsReview and improvement of financial systems, controls, and processesMargin analysisRole will be on a hybrid basis and include some element of travel to projects within Ireland as required.The PersonTo be successful in this role you will have the following skills and experience:Qualified Accountant with relevant commercial experienceConstruction experience very beneficialStrong technical skillsExceptional interpersonal skills and strong communicatorSelf-motivating and able to work on own initiative #J-18808-Ljbffr
