Job Description
Seeking a commercially-minded Accountant to join a market leader in their sector, reporting to the Finance Director and taking ownership of key projects within the Group.
Our client is a progressive organisation working with Senior Management and Operations teams, with a focus on relationship building and fostering good relationships to understand financial performance and identify potential issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and development of small team
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Analysis of income and costings
- Assist with preparation of tenders
- Revenue recognition
- Prepare reports for senior management
- Develop and update financial models
- Support commercial business teams
- Review and improvement of financial systems and processes
- Margin analysis
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant with relevant commercial experience
- Construction experience beneficial
- Strong technical skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong communicator
- Self-motivating and able to work on own initiative
