Job Description

Finance Business Partner (Fixed Term)Due to a maternity leave within the PGS Newbridge Finance team, a 12-month fixed-term position for the role of Finance Business Partner has arisen.The Finance Business Partner will be responsible for supporting financial reporting, inventory control and reporting, site forecasting, and site finance metrics. The overall objective is to support the site’s achievement of its financial results and drive the site’s competitiveness journey via the Forecast, Budget, and Long-Range Planning processes while maintaining the highest level of compliance.The core responsibilities for the position include supporting key processes such as month-end close, inventory reporting, forecast preparation, maintenance of a top-class internal control environment, and leadership and support of internal and external audits.The position will require great flexibility and teamwork, as the Finance Business Partner will be required, in addition to their core duties, to be flexible in their approach to support other Newbridge finance team members.Finally, the position will also participate in the wider PGS finance team and work closely with sites within the SMO network.Primary Responsibilities:Month EndSupport finance team in finalization of results.Analysis of actual cost versus budget/forecast.Publishing actual results and provision of analysis for the site.Internal ControlsExternal audit.Internal audit.MAPP submissions.SAP PC Controls/Cadency.Balance sheet review process.Inventory ReportingManagement of inventory cycle counts.Support internal and external audit processes.Knowledge Requirements:Experience in financial systems (Hyperion (HFM), Mosaic, SAP).Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvements via systems and processes.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with diverse groups and individuals.Demonstrated ability to work on own initiative and proactively respond to business needs.Strong analytical skills, including the use of Excel and PowerPoint as analytical and presentation tools.Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.Qualifications:Education: Qualified Accountant (ACA/CGMA, CPA, etc.)Experience: QualifiedCore Competencies:Effective communication skills.Strong business acumen.Ability to solve problems.Excellent systems and financial accounting knowledge.Ability to work cross-functionally and operate effectively in a dynamic team environment.Work Location Assignment: HybridAdditional Information:In order to be considered for this position in Ireland, you need to be legally eligible to work in Ireland.Please note there is no relocation support available for this position.How to apply:Make a difference today; all suitable candidates should apply with CV below.
