We are currently recruiting for a Director of Finance to lead our finance team as part of National Office team in Dun Laoghaire! The contract available is Permanent, Full time, 35hrs Starting salary: €73,941 - DOE Acquired Brain Injury Ireland provides community-based rehabilitation services for people living with a brain injury in Ireland. Our mission is to serve, advocate, empower and support people impacted by brain injury to rebuild their lives. The Director of Finance holds overall senior management responsibility for the strategic leadership and effective performance of the finance function in the Organisation. Reporting to the Chief Executive, and working as part of the Senior Management Team, the Director of Finance will lead and develop the Finance Team in the provision of an efficient, effective and accurate service to the Organisation, ensuring the organisational financial infrastructure and reporting mechanisms support both statutory and non-statutory requirements at all times. Qualifications: Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CPA, ACA, CIMA) with a minimum of 5 years PQE in industry or similar organisation Experience: Demonstrated understanding and experience of financial control. Proven report writing and presentation experience. Previous experience of leading, managing and developing staff Experience of planning, budgeting, and forecasting Experience in implementation of new accounting systems Ability to prepare management and annual accounts and accounts for external audit. Systems - strong working knowledge of accounting and payroll systems and processes. Excellent MS Office skills with advanced spreadsheet skills An ability to build effective relationships at all levels in the organisation, manage conflict and problem solve Full driving licence with access to own vehicle Desirable: Track record in negotiating funding Experience in the Not-for-Profit Sector.
