FINANCE DIRECTOR - RETAILExcellent packageOur client, a successful retail business, is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Finance Director to join their growing business. This is a new opportunity, and you will report directly to the business owners and alongside the MD. You will be responsible for over 25 company entities in the Republic and Northern Ireland.Responsibilities:Support the monthly management accounts for 20+ company entities.Prepare the annual budgeting and maintain a robust quarterly forecasting process.Deliver monthly financial results with detailed variance analysis.Support audit and end of year filings.Review, analyse, and challenge site performance, providing commentary prior to declaration of financial results and advising on how to drive margins, growth, and improve profit.Work with the operational teams to analyse performance trends and advise on how these insights can be used to make a true impact on the business and increase profitability, driving agreed action plans.Liaise with relevant stakeholders to ensure all areas are managed to produce the maximum results.Deliver a strong management review and control process with the business owners and senior site management.Ensure financial control environment is properly implemented, especially around cash, stock, margins, and cost control in units.Business partner with teams to identify future challenges in terms of inflation, supply, change controls, and seasonal trading patterns.Build out and develop enhanced KPI reporting templates.Prepare PowerPoints and present to senior management/leadership teams on business performance.Management and development of the finance team and strong collaboration with the wider business across marketing, sales, supply chain, etc.Requirements:ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA qualified candidates with 8+ years PQE.You must have commercial experience - business partnering, budgeting, forecasting, identifying trends, business performance analysis, and presenting to senior stakeholders.IT and system savvy.Process improvement driven.A strong people leader who can build trust and confidence.Strong communicator and leader.APPLY NOW! #J-18808-Ljbffr
