Finance Manager Immediate Start About the Company Finance Manger role with a leading city centre-based energy provide. Great opportunity within Financial Control with flexible hybrid working. Initially being offered on a 6-month contract with a strong view to extension. About the Position Reporting to the Head of Finance, the finance manager will be responsible for the financial control function. A hands-on role with a good strategic element, responsible for local financials and submitting to group. Great team and collaborative culture. Key Responsibilities Ensuring the integrity of financial reporting for the local legal entities by maintaining a strong financial control environment. Manage the overall delivery and consolidation of the month-end financial close process within the Group timelines Manage teams coordination and delivery of internal and external reporting requirements to Group Finance and other key stakeholders Manage relationship with Group auditors and take responsibility for GAAP / IFRS compliance, and own the completion of the Irish statutory annual report and accounts Oversee the cash and banking process and manage the relationship with Group Treasury Drive the overall implementation of Group accounting policies, procedures & processes incl. enabling technologies Collaborate with the other finance teams to implement consistent standards and efficient methods of working across functional teams within Financial Control Experience/Requirements Qualified Accountant CPA/ACA/ACCA/CIMA with strong PQE in Industry Energy retail supply, commodity wholesale trading or power generation industry experience would be a distinct advantage but not essential Experience in Finance Leadership roles managing a finance team ideally Proven ability to manage complex financial reporting procedures and consistently achieve accurate on time delivery Remuneration Package Competitive rate available with flexible hybrid working.
