Finance Manager Job In Dublin City Centre

Job Description

We are currently partnering with a prominent energy provider in the hopes to find a Finance Manager to join their dynamic financial control team.

This will be a 6 month contract with strong view for permanency and is offering a very competitive salary.

With offices in Dublin City Centre, they are operating with a hybrid working model (2-3 days onsite).

You will own the financial accounting and reporting process for operating costs (opex), capital expenditure (capex) and will be responsible for the integrity of the balance sheet and cash flow statement.

This includes overseeing and monitoring an effective compliance and control environment.


Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the integrity of financial reporting by maintaining a strong financial control environment, specifically for opex and capex and the relevant balance sheet accounts
• Manage the overall delivery and consolidation of the periodend financial close process
• Manage team's coordination and delivery of internal and external reporting requirements
• Manage relationship with Group auditors and take responsibility for GAAP / IFRS compliance, and own the completion of the Irish statutory annual report and accounts
• Oversee the cash and banking process and manage the relationship with Group Treasury
• Drive the overall implementation of accounting policies, procedures & processes incl. enabling technologies
• Manage the integration of new operational assets (built or acquired) and joint ventures into our clients standard accounting processes, policies and control framework

Minimum requirements:

• Qualified Accountant CPA/ACA/ACCA/CIMA with years post qualification experience
• Experience in Finance Leadership roles managing a finance team supporting multiple business units
• Proven ability to manage complex financial reporting procedures and consistently achieve accurate on time delivery
• SAP S4 Hana and SAP BPC experience would be beneficial but is not essential
