Job Description

We are seeking a Finance Manager to join our Finance Division in Dublin 15. This full-time, permanent role is ideal for an ambitious Finance Manager looking to progress in their finance career.

This is a fast-paced, broad finance role where you will have the opportunity to get exposure to all areas of the finance function. The Finance Manager role will play a crucial part in improving procedures, developing the wider Finance Team and implementing a new ERP system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head of Finance with month-end gross margin reporting, highlighting trends to the relevant Commercial Teams
  • Review balance sheet reconciliations, business overheads, and develop key performance indicators
  • Support the delivery of monthly and quarterly financial forecasts and annual budgets
  • Work with the Head of Finance on Board packs and group reporting requests
  • Manage the AP Team of four, improve AP processes, ensure KPIs are met, and mentor the team
  • Contribute to the Finance function's goal of improving financial analysis provided to the business and wider Sisk Group
  • Lead in the preparation of the annual audit file, liaise with auditors to ensure the audit is completed in a timely manner
  • Ensure statutory tax returns and other statistical data submissions are completed diligently and filed timely
  • Provide Finance support and cover for our Midwest Division
  • Other ad hoc requests as required

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience working within the industry
  • Experience managing staff
  • Construction or Project Accounting experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with proven experience of using accountancy software
  • Energetic and driven while detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong understanding of FM/Building (Mechanical & Electrical) services is an advantage
