Finance Manager Location: Dublin 2 Salary: €60,000 - €65,000 (DOE) Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time (35 hours per week, Monday to Friday) About the Finance Manager role: Here in Osborne, are seeking an experienced and dedicated Finance Manager to join our clients, Not for Profit, Dublin 2 team. The Finance Manager will provide financial control and insight to support the mission and strategic objectives. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cause while working in a supportive, hybrid environment. Health insurance for serious illness. Training and development opportunities. Paid expenses. The Finance Manager will have/be: Professional Accounting Qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA). Minimum 3 years of experience in a busy finance department, including staff management. Strong background in management and financial accounting. Experience in the housing or not-for-profit sector. Experience working with external auditors. Strong analytical and communication skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining integrity and confidentiality. A collaborative team player with a commitment to delivering quality services. Responsibilities of the Finance Manager: Prepare monthly management accounts with detailed commentary and analysis. Manage the accounts payable, receivable, and nominal ledger functions. Oversee the preparation of statutory accounts and the annual audit process. Handle property financing, including CALF and private financing processes. Implement and monitor component accounting practices. Supervise a team of six finance and admin staff, ensuring efficient and effective operations. Act as a key member of the Extended Management Team, contributing to strategic discussions. Produce monthly KPIs and other performance metrics for various departments. Provide financial analysis for development projects and other strategic initiatives. Ensure accurate invoicing to funders and manage the collection process. Manage and improve internal controls, processes, and procedures within the Finance and Admin teams. Assist with budget setting, long-term planning, and regulatory reporting. Maintain compliance with relevant regulations and funder requirements. Provide financial insights to support the Leadership Team and Board in decision-making. Ensure the organisation remains competitive and achieves Value for Money across all operations. Identify and mitigate financial risks.
