Morgan McKinley is pleased to be partnering with an expanding renewable energy company based in Tipperary to recruit an experienced accountant to join their finance team. The successful candidate will have a robust understanding of accounting principles and practices, particularly in financial reporting and IFRS and play a pivotal role in managing the company's financial operations and support their continued growth and success. Key Responsibilities: Contribute to the production of monthly management accounts and financial results. Prepare reports on construction contracts in line with IFRS, providing detailed analysis to the Managing Director. Monitor cash flow and provide initial analysis of monthly financial reports. Engage in day-to-day finance activities, collaborating with key stakeholders and service providers. Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable managed by a third-party service provider. Review payroll information provided by a third-party service provider. Assist during the audit process and in the preparation of financial statements. Provide support in managing company secretarial duties. Provide financial insights to support both strategic and operational finance considerations. Contribute to commercial and financial projects as required. Handle various ad hoc finance tasks as they arise Key Requirements: Qualified accountant with at least 4 years of post-qualification experience (PQE), with Big 4 training highly desirable. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Excellent knowledge of IFRS and experience in financial reporting. Previous experience in construction contracts accounting is highly desirable. Experience within the Construction, Energy, or Agriculture industry is preferred but not essential. Strong written and oral communication skills. Commercial acumen and ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
