Finance Senior Manager (APAC)Exciting opportunity in Cork for a Senior Finance Manager, ideally coming from a large multinational or Shared Service Centre background, with very strong leadership and team management experience.You will be reporting to the Finance Director and as Senior Finance Manager you will be responsible for the successful operation of the APAC and Central Team accounting & controllership function and processes for the region.Duties & Responsibilities:Maintains and directs the accounting close and financial reporting activities for APAC and Central Team.Maintains ledger integrity and ensures financial compliance.Responsible for ensuring the accounting and reporting requirements under US and local GAAP rules.Co-ordinate and present quarterly accounting issues to executive Finance leadership and External Audit management team.Responsible for the management of the preparation, audit and filing of statutory financial statements for all entities within the APAC and Central Team region.Responsible for Controls and Compliance across all functions liaising with internal and external auditors.Responsible for all internal and external direct tax reporting and filings across the region, liaising closely with the Corporate Tax team based in US HQ.Responsible for change initiatives and projects across APAC and Central Team function and participation in company-wide projects.Helps develop, maintain and assess internal controls related to the company’s accounting and financial reporting systems.Maintaining a continuous improvement culture.Recruitment, retention, motivation, and development of APAC and Central Team Accounting team.Background:Ideally coming from a large Multinational or Shared Service Centre.Minimum 7-10 years business experience.US GAAP, IFRS and SOX experience.Experience with transformation projects.Strong ERP system expertise.People leader.Excellent PackageAPPLY NOW! #J-18808-Ljbffr
