MBS Retail provides these services to 4 Business Units, with 11 separate legal entities, approximately 96 stores, covering 3 Musgrave brands - SuperValu, Centra and Donnybrook Fair. The team also supports the AP function for La Rousse Foods.The team is led by 2 Managers – a Finance Manager and a Systems Manager. This role opportunity is for the Systems Manager, responsible for ensuring the finance systems & processes supporting the team are optimised and developed. In particular, the role will support our continued development of our AP automation tool ‘Basware’ including new implementations.Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:Own and deliver the Optimisation agenda and plan for MBS Retail.Lead the MBS Retail Systems team to deliver a stable and scalable back-office finance function, aligning systems & best practice ways of working across the estate.Manage, support and develop a team of colleagues to ensure reporting and analytics leads to continuous improvement and that Masterdata is effective.Lead the MBS Retail Acquisitions AP team, support the planning and implementation of Basware roll out.Engage our key stakeholders to understand business requirements, ensuring our processes are fit for purpose.Develop & deliver KPI reporting for divisions in line with agreed SLA.Responsibility for smooth integration of newly acquired stores onto MBS Retail systems.Form strong working relationships with various stakeholders in all areas of the CoCo business.Responsibility for the Microsoft Business Central system, working with FST and external support partner to ensure the system is maintained and optimised, including upgrades in line with plans.Jointly responsible for management of talent planning, people development and succession planning for the MBS Retail team.Jointly responsible for driving strong colleague engagement scores and team well-being.Embed a culture of continuous improvement within MBS Retail & deliver efficiencies from CI / Optimisation. Identify and roll out new technologies, act as a champion of digital finance and embrace the drive towards automation within MBS Retail.Lead and embed optimisation projects and change management.The successful candidate will be/have:Qualified Accountant with 5+ years PQE experience.Proven track record of delivering high quality results.Ability to drive change in the work environment.End to end project management experience is desirable.Strong people leadership skills and ability to develop people.Strong focus on stakeholder management and internal business partnering.Strong focus on controls, governance and risk mitigation management.Highly organised, structured and performance driven.Excellent interpersonal, communication and management skills with the ability to interact and influence effectively at all levels across the business and to get things done.Experience owning and managing a department budget.End to end knowledge of ERP systems - MS Dynamics 365 Business Central experience is desirable.This is an 18-month contract.Musgrave is an equal opportunities employer.
