Finance/Membership Administrator This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of the finance and membership functions, offering support to treasurers, managing financial returns, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will have strong IT, finance, and communication skills, with a background in a similar role. Location: Dublin 6 Salary: €35,000 - €50,000 (DOE) Contract Type:Permanent, Full-Time Hours:9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday Annual Leave:27 Days Benefits: Pension Scheme Professional Development Opportunities Hybrid working arrangement Key Skills & Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role. Proficiency in IT systems, particularly Office 365, SharePoint, and Excel. Advanced skills in Sage 50 and Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize. Strong initiative, attention to detail, and decision-making ability. Responsibilities of the Finance/Membership Administrator: Update and prepare PowerPoint presentations for Treasurer training sessions. Provide one-to-one support to Treasurers throughout the year. Assist with the presentation of accounts at branch meetings or AGMs as needed. Review and process annual financial returns from various locations. Ensure accuracy and completeness of submitted documentation. Upload balanced returns to the audit portal. Carrying out annual audits and ensure compliance with financial processes. Liaise with Treasurers to address any discrepancies and provide corrective guidance. Report audit findings to relevant Officers. Manage monthly anniversary refunds for members. Prepare and process EFT payments to members. Maintain accurate records of all transactions. Maintain and update the fixed asset register. Track asset assignments, transfers, and disposals. Record depreciation and ensure compliance with GDPR requirements. Collaborate with the Audit Officer to improve finance processes. Support branches with financial processes and implement centralized finance practices. Engage with the Credit Union to enhance finance management. Ensure team proficiency in payroll, expenses, branch returns, and other financial processes. Provide ongoing training and support to finance team members.
