Our client an international Retailer with a number of stores throughout Ireland are currently looking to recruit a Financial Accountant to initially join them on a six month contract. If you have a performance-driven mindset, with excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills then this is the role for you! About Your New job Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Manage the month-end and year-end close processes. Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Provide financial analysis and reporting to support business decisions. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls. Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes and reporting. Assist with external audits and liaise with auditors as needed. Support ad-hoc financial projects and analysis. What You Need: Fully Qualified Accountant, ideally with demonstrable experience of accounts preparation, analysis, and reconciliation. Strong Excel skills and are comfortable working with Sage 50, or equivalent. A performance-driven mindset, with excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
