Robert Walters are proud to be partnering with a sports organisation to hire for a Financial Accountant for an initial 12 month contract where you will work closely with the CFO and play a key role in the success of the Sports organisation.
Very flexible hybrid working model consisting of 1-2 days office in Dublin.This would suit a Big 4 trained Newly Qualified Accountant or someone 1-2 years PQE.
Key Responsibilities Financial Accountant - Sport Management of the AP function Management of Accounts Receivable function Assist with the management of cash including: producing accurate cashflow statements, supplier payments, addition and removal of new users/approvers and creation of bank accounts.
Liaise with audit team to resolve queries and produce financial statements.
Assist with the budget process.
Liaise with budget holders to produce ambitious budgets for the financial years.
Assist with the monthly forecasting with budget holders to ensure accurate forecasts are produced to enable informed Exec decision making.
Support the Chief Financial Officer, Executive Team and Finance Manager by providing key financial information to assist with decision making.
Develop and manage relationships with relevant stakeholders Key requirements of the Financial Accountant - Sport Must hold an accredited accountancy qualification.
At least three years Accountancy experience or Big 4 trained Must have excellent Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word and Power Point.
Strong communication and presentation skills, recognising the important of continuous engagement and the ability to build relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders at all levels, many of whom have no financial background.
