Company Description Our client is a family-run business in Athlone that prides itself on providing top-quality products to Irelands largest retailers. The company seeks to hire an Accountant with at least three years of experience in a similar industry. Position Description This is a full-time position. Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts pack. Ensuring Fixed Asset Register is updated and maintained. Submitting VAT Returns, VIES and Intra stat returns. Preparation of bank reconciliation for all company bank accounts, and adjusting FX rates monthly for sterling bank accounts. Reconcile P&L and B/S codes to ensure all items are posted corrected and reclassifying any amounts as necessary. Assist in the preparation of weekly payroll Experience & Expertise 3+ years experience in relevant role. Excellent Excel skills with proficiency in numbers. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Bachelors degree in business, Accounting, or related field. Experience with Navision Accounts Package and Quantum payroll is advantageous.
