Job Description
Join a global logistics firm in Mayo/Roscommon/South Sligo as a Financial Accountant.
Responsibilities:
* Month End Close: assist with Prophix uploads, posting of Journal entries (accruals/prepayments and corrections).
* Review monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations with supporting schedules.
* Review GLs and provide explanations for Variance from Forecast, Prior Year and month on month movements.
* Fixed Assets: responsible for the group's assets and creating a Fixed Asset Policy.
* Revenue recognition: review billings and stuck documents.
* Reconciliation of Sales and Finance Apps.
* Primary finance contact with Rebates and Customer Claims Teams.
* Assisting with year-end audit and statutory accounts preparation.
Requirements:
* Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA).
* SAP accounting software experience is essential.
* Understanding of Financial Structure (P&L and Balance Sheet).
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
* Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
