A new opportunity has become available with a growing Irish Company based in Offaly. This Company has seen its business grow significantly in recent years due to its international exports and because of this growth and continued growth plans, this client is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their Finance Team based in Offaly. The strength of its market position has allowed the Company to expand into international markets, taking advantage of the increasing global demand for their products. The successful candidate will be responsible for a large portfolio of business and the role will also involve responsibility for all financial matters and supporting clients to drive their operational and financial performance. The successful candidate will be commercially orientated and work well within a team. Key Responsibilities: Preparation of Weekly Accounts and KPIs for Senior management Preparation of Monthly Management Accounts in SAP Ongoing review and reconciliation of balance sheet control accounts Variance Analysis reporting against budget and standards Liaise directly with external auditors as part of year-end audit Preparation of capital investment proposals (CAPEX) Financial Management of CAPEX projects Preparation of Budgets Monthly presentation to the board of directors Oversee the purchase order process Provide support to clients and group finance team Continuous Improvement, work closely with clients management team to support a culture of continuous and operational improvement, often through Lean projects Coordination of periodic and year-end stocktakes Completion of VAT returns to Revenue Qualifications Required: Have a recognised accountancy qualification Be proficient in Excel Have excellent organisational and time management skills Have excellent communication skills Remuneration: Competitive salary, pension, and a hybrid working model.
