Accountant sought for a small technically skilled team to manage financial reports, audits, and budgeting for a leading Irish property company with operations in Ireland, the UK, and the US.

About the Role: Accountant to join a small technically skilled team, responsible for managing financial reports, audits, and budgeting for a number of companies within the group.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing financial reports and accounting for group companies
- Preparing year-end audits and acting as point of contact with auditors
- Managing all queries
- Income and expenditure analysis and reporting
- Working to internal quarterly reporting deadlines and additional external reporting
- Budgeting and expenditure control
- Prepare bank account reconciliations for a volume of bank accounts
- Preparation of VAT returns for both Irish and UK companies
- Intercompany accounting and reconciliations
Requirements:
- Fully qualified accountant - ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA
- Experienced with preparing monthly management accounts, financial reporting and audit
- Ideal experience in industry with above duties, but candidates coming from small accountancy background with accounts prep experience also a suitable fit
- Ability to work on your own initiative
