Accountant Role: Financial Reporting and Compliance
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team, responsible for preparing management and financial information for internal use and inclusion in financial statements and regulatory returns.
- Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the production of periodic financial and management reports and/or regulatory returns within agreed deadlines
- Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations, professional standards and organizational policies
- Implement and update accounting policies and controls and fiscal controls for the preparation of financial reports
- Review, design, develop and/or implement accounting systems (both manual and computerized), systems documentation and procedures/instructions
- Implement continuous improvement by providing assistance in researching accounting and regulatory standards and establishing new and revised processes in line with best practice
