Description
Job Purpose: This role is a key member of the Financial Reporting team. The team ensures all financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, statements and audits are managed to a high-level standard and completed within specific timeframes. The Financial Accountant is key to ensuring the above processes run smoothly. Having a broad range of responsibilities, this role will see you assist with elements of internal and external financial reporting along with business partnering with functions throughout the business.
Key Responsibilities
This role is key to supporting the preparation of monthly, quarterly internal and external financial reporting to various stakeholders, whilst also having responsibility for the finance system (Microsoft Dynamics) ensuring effective and efficient processing of financial data.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- High standards of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Energetic, passionate and willing to challenge the status quo in the interests of delivering change
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to collaborate and work effectively as part of a team
- A strong interest in systems and technology and willingness to develop skills in this area.
