Job Description

Financial Accountant role at a leading Law firm requires a Chartered or Certified Accountant with strong Excel skills, excellent communication, and a passion for process improvement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparation and posting of month end journals, including accruals and prepayments.
  • Production of accurate and timely monthly management accounts.
  • Preparation of month end and quarter end P&L and Balance Sheet reconciliations.
  • Working with budget holders to produce budgets, forecasts, and capex plans.
  • Reviewing outputs from Accounts Payable, Banking, and Accounts Receivable teams.
  • Preparation of annual and quarterly accounts required under the Solicitors Regulations.
  • Working with the tax function to prepare tax filings.
