Financial Accountant role at a leading Law firm requires a Chartered or Certified Accountant with strong Excel skills, excellent communication, and a passion for process improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation and posting of month end journals, including accruals and prepayments.
- Production of accurate and timely monthly management accounts.
- Preparation of month end and quarter end P&L and Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Working with budget holders to produce budgets, forecasts, and capex plans.
- Reviewing outputs from Accounts Payable, Banking, and Accounts Receivable teams.
- Preparation of annual and quarterly accounts required under the Solicitors Regulations.
- Working with the tax function to prepare tax filings.
